Melbet cricket app reviewed for Indian and Bangladeshi punters
The melbet cricket app is the fastest way to get odds on an IPL or BPL match onto your phone, and the install is where most players in India and Bangladesh get stuck. Android wants one permission changed. iPhone wants something stranger: a different App Store country. Neither download costs anything.
All figures here were confirmed against the operator's published pages on 24 October 2026.
This page covers what the install actually takes, how the cricket line behaves once you are in, what the first deposit offer asks of you (a qualifying deposit from 1 USD, then five times the bonus through accumulators), and who holds the licence behind melbet.com. Bonus figures move, so treat everything here as what the operator published on 24 October 2026 and read the cashier before you pay in.
Getting the melbet cricket app download onto your phone
Android phones refuse files from outside the store until you say otherwise, and the operator's mobile page states the requirement plainly: installation of apps from unknown sources has to be allowed before the Melbet Betting App will open. That single setting is the whole obstacle. Once it is on, the rest takes a couple of minutes.
Inside, the app is built around live play. You get live scores and odds, quick access to bet history, a large selection of LIVE events, real-time notifications and auto-updates, so you are not hunting for a fresh file the week a series starts. Deposits and withdrawals sit in the same app through integrated banking options.
- Open the mobile section of melbet.com in your phone browser.
- Allow installation of apps from unknown sources when Android asks for it.
- Take the Android file and confirm the install prompt.
- Register at melbet.com/en/registration, or sign in if you already have an account.
- Keep auto-updates switched on so the app refreshes itself.
Android and iPhone installs side by side
The iPhone route is the odd one. The App Store listing for Melbet live sports betting sits in the Vietnamese store, so you change Country/Region on your Apple ID to Vietnam or Mongolia first, with a billing address such as 60 yersin, Nha Trang, 650000. Players with an Indian or Bangladeshi Apple ID should know that switching region affects the other apps and subscriptions tied to that account.
| Step | Android | iPhone and iPad |
|---|---|---|
| Download cost | Free | Free |
| Set this first | Allow installation of apps from unknown sources | Change App Store Country/Region to Vietnam or Mongolia |
| Where the file comes from | The operator's mobile page on melbet.com | The App Store listing available in that region |
| Extra detail asked for | None in the install steps | A billing address, for example 60 yersin, Nha Trang, 650000 |

Melbet cricket betting, live and before the toss
Cricket has its own line alongside Football, Tennis, Basketball, Ice Hockey and Volleyball, and the sportsbook also carries Live, Multi-LIVE, Toto, Results, Statistics, UFC and NBA 2026. Multi-LIVE is the section worth finding early: during an Asia Cup week, when a T20 and an ODI overlap, it keeps both on one screen instead of forcing you to flip back and forth.
Live wagering and streaming are available for various sports events in the app, so some matches can be followed inside the same window you bet in. Odds and scores update in place, and notifications fire while you are doing something else on the phone.
Before you back anything, the Results and Statistics sections are free to browse. Our own live score page and the match schedule do the same job if you want them side by side with the odds.
When there is no cricket on, the app carries the rest of the site: Casino slots, Live Casino, Fast Games, Esports, Bingo, Toto, Poker, TV Games, Virtual sports, Lotto, Hunting and Fishing, and other games.
The first deposit offer, weekly cashback and birthday spins
First Deposit BonusAmount not stated on the operator's bonus page, so read it in the cashier before you top up
Qualifying deposit from 1 USD in your currency equivalent, and any payment method counts. Wager the bonus five times in accumulators of at least three events, each priced at 1.40 or higher, with every event starting before the offer expires.
Weekly cashback3% of lost stakes
Paid each week on losing stakes that were priced at 1.5 or above, so stakes on shorter odds do not count towards it.
Birthday reward20 free spins
Credited as a birthday gift and spent in the casino section, not on the cricket line.
Bonus for 100 betsEqual to your average stake across those 100 bets
The reward tracks the average, so a hundred tiny bets place a hundred times and return very little.
What the account gives you day to day

Official India channels

Who holds the licence
Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA)OGL/2024/561/0554
Held by Pelican Entertainment B.V. and covering melbet.com, melbet.mobi and melbet.org. That is the permission the sportsbook and casino sections operate under, and it is the licence you are relying on if a dispute ever reaches support.
Verification, support and staying in control
Melbet publishes a KYC Policies page, and reading it before your first withdrawal is sensible rather than optional. Players in India and Bangladesh usually hit document checks at the cash-out stage, so the name on your account and the name on whatever you pay with should match from day one.
A Responsible Gambling page is published too, and the support contacts page is where you raise anything the app cannot fix. There is also a separate programme for becoming a payment agent at melbetagents.com, which is its own sign-up and nothing to do with a normal betting account.
If you are comparing before you commit, our pages on 1xbet, Mostbet and Betwinner go through the same ground.
Questions players ask before signing up
- Is the melbet cricket app free to download?
- Yes, on both Android and iOS. The cost sits in the setup instead: Android needs installs from unknown sources allowed, and iOS needs the App Store account country set to Vietnam or Mongolia.
- How much do I have to deposit to qualify for the bonus?
- The minimum qualifying deposit is 1 USD, paid in your account currency equivalent, and no particular payment method is required. The bonus amount itself is not stated on the operator's bonus page, so check the cashier and the bonus rules before you pay in.
- What does the five times wagering mean for a cricket punter?
- You turn the bonus over five times using accumulators of at least three events, each at odds of 1.40 or better. A single on one IPL match will not count towards it, and every event in those accumulators must start before the offer expires.
- Can I watch the match in the same app I bet in?
- Live wagering and streaming are offered for various sports events in the app, together with live scores and odds that refresh in place. Coverage depends on the event, so check the fixture itself.
- Will changing my App Store region affect my other apps?
- Changing Country/Region applies to the whole Apple ID, not to one download, so subscriptions and purchases tied to your Indian or Bangladeshi account are affected by the switch. That is the trade-off for the iOS install.
- How do I know a Melbet channel is the real one?
- The channels listed by the operator are Telegram melbetindiaoffic, X melbet_india_of, Instagram melbetindia_official and YouTube @MelBetOfficial-h7e. Anything promising bonus terms other than the published ones is not one of them.
